Heros

Your hero is a great general who commands your marches and manages your city. Your active hero's image is shown in the left corner of the resource panel (top of screen). By pressing it, you will see all of your hero's main features. If you have more heroes, you can switch between them. At start you can choose between two free Heroes: Garvel or Julia, both having no bonus. The other 13 heroes can either be bought for real money in the TB Shop package 'Choose your hero' for about $50 (gives you 1 hero of choice) or you can get them with 1M in gold. They all have unique bonuses, so choose carefully !

TIP: You should keep your hero level as low as possible, focus on leveling up your captains!

At the beginning of most Tournaments all players are assigned to divisions according to their Hero´s level. The higher division level you are assigned to, the higher the level of the monsters you will have to attack. If you kept your Hero level as low as possible, you will be assigned to a lower division, and will have to attack a lower number of monsters, (At The Great Hunt event, then you can increase the difficulty to highest and get maximum tournament points on your attacks).

To keep your Hero level as low as possible, avoid doing rare monsters (those can only be attacked by Heroes) and DO NOT participate in the Armageddon event. Even in The Great Hunt Event do not attack the rare monsters. Fight all the common ones at the highest level you possibly can and then refresh in order to get more common monsters to fight leaving the rare ones alone. You only level up your Hero when it is required by the game for growth, to unlock a Capitol level up for example.

Do not claim your achievements in quests as they level up your Hero level, or claim them without your Hero in your city. You can just let them grow, and then, when needed claim them to level up your hero until he reaches the level you need
