Troop Stacking

When you are attacking epics you need to balance your troops (stacks) in order to inflict max damage while minimising your losses.

When you balance your troops you want to look what their health is. Your troop health depends on the Hero and Captains you are going to use, on the quality of the gear they are going to wear (equipment), and also on the Personal, Clan and Kingdom bonuses that are active and also on the level of your dragon, your talents and Army Modernization.

The stack with more health goes on the first round of attacks. If you have not balanced your troops and you get to loose the first round (the epic monster attacks first) you will be loosing all the damage power (Strength) they have. But if you did balance your troops, you would have lost only the proportional strength of all your attacking troops.

First, select the Hero and Captains you are going to use to attack. Then click on the troops in the city, and click on the troops you are going to use and look for their Health and their Health Bonus Health. Determine the total Health they have. In that way you will know The total Health per troop you are using. Last thing to do is to calculate the number of each you need to send so that your squads going to fight have all the same amount of Health.

Usually you stack on a 2:2:1 ratio, using rounded amounts such as 200 spearmen, 200 archers, and 100 riders. Then you stack them for Levels. You usually want to bump them up by 100 for each level you have, with the most troops being level 1 and the least being your highest level available. So if you have levels 1, 2 and 3 you would send the most level 1's, moderate level 2's, and the least level 3's, using the 2:2:1 stacking ratio.
