Monsters

When attacking ANY kind of monsters, whether in the world map (common, rare, heroics or citadels) or in a Tournament (epics), you should ALWAYS determine the mix and number of troops and mercs you are going to attack it with. In other words, you have to evaluate it´s strengths first to choose the most effective troops and mercs against them. Never use Specialists to attack monsters.

The proper mix would have been all Archers, but as after choosing all the available Archers the "Losses in battle" prediction was still high, some mounted units were added in order to bring down predicted losses. Why Mounted and not Melee? Because, the squad has 10% strength against Mounted and 25% strength against Melee. So better go with Mounted rather than with Melee to get less losses.
